threads redirect back to homepage

could somebody tell me why would all the threads on my forums redirect back to the forum's index page? do I need to look at the .htaccess files or the control panel,

Hi Oleg,

thank you, I had this code in the custom rewrite area that I tend to use for vbadvanced, but just noticed that it shouldn't have been there,

'index\.php\?page=(.+)' => '$1.html'

so I removed it and now the forums work normal,
