Thread Subscriptions doing weird things for my users

I want to simply know whether anyone else is seeing this behaviour, and whether we can deduce it to be a result of vBSEO.

What I've been witnessing since roughly the time when I installed vBSEO is that the users have made various complaints about thread subscriptions being made for them, and them receiving emails, when all of their settings say that they don't want emails, don't subscribe, etc.

It seems that *something* is adding subscriptions for these users (random selection of users, these just happen to be the ones who have complained).

I don't see why vBSEO would do this, so even though the date suggests it, I've ignored the link.

But nothing else has changed (well, an upgrade in vb, but the complaints came in both before and after this).

    Some of the complaints:
    http://www.bowlie.com/forum/help/23691-what-hell.html
    http://www.bowlie.com/forum/help/230...tml#post918133

The mentions of things being fixed magically, are just me deleting all subscriptions for that user.

I don't understand why there would be a link between vBSEO and this strange behaviour. But as I've failed to find any other cause and the symptoms appear to remain and the date adds up... I'd like to simply know whether anyone else who has vBSEO installed has seen anything like this?

I can say that I, myself, have been subscribed to threads on a few occasions on my site. (I never subscribe to any since I'm always on the site.) It's strange, and I haven't found any pattern to it. It's only happened maybe 3 times total.

I haven't had any of these problems myself, have no idea what could cause it either unfortunately.
