    Subdomain settings

I've copied my site to a subdomain and changed both the bburl and homeurl in the settings table to http://subdomain.example.com via phpmyadmin but the source of page http://subdomain.example.com still begins all links with http://www.example.com . Are there any other settings I should be looking at?

Make sure you also updated your defined forum url within vB Options. Also you should create a support ticket and request update on your license.

The problem was I couldn't access the admin panel in the subdomain site, but I found a way and ensured that both URLs (Homepage and Forum, stored in the homeurl and bburl records) had been set to the nl subdomain. And it's still showing www for the links. You can view it by going to the nl sub of the URL in My Contact info on this site.

As a check I disabled vBSEO and the links showed the correct subdomain.

I'm not interested in an update on my license unless it's free. Is that the case?

    Hello ,

You should upgrade to latest vBSEO package. Unfortunately your license is currently expired therefor you first need to renew your license. The package you are using is pretty outdated and encoded. vBSEO 3.1.0 and later versions don't require encoding anymore.

I do not need to renew my license. The vBSEO license is a lifetime license.

But I agree with you that later versions may be better, so I may (and for which I must) renew my license.
