Strange, weird, CSS issue....

hey guys, any chance anyone could pin point the issue here:-
Football Forums - The world soccer forum for football fans to discuss and chat

VIEW THE ABOVE IN OPERA OR FIREFOX WHILE LOGGED OUT!!!

The footer is displayed in the header area, and I cant figure it out....

It's all valid XHTML 1.0 too..... very weird.

Errors

Re: Strange, weird, CSS issue....

Hey Brian,

Thanks for that.... a little non standard CSS always creeps through and it had the needed functionality in all browsers.... however it's far short of being a fix.

The selector (footbg) is constant regardless of being logged in or out.... and the background property could never have bearing on layer position.

This weirdness only happens whilst logged out. login and it goes away.

Re: Strange, weird, CSS issue....

I fixed it eventually....

It was caused by closing a div element to early.
Painstaking comparison of 1700+ lines of logged in / logged out code revealed my error.

Thanks for taking the time to help though
