Strange problem

Hi,
One user told me that since I installed vbseo on my forum he has strange problem while using it as a guest user. When he goes to the last page of the thread he doesn't see last few posts. When he refresh the page using F5 suddenly these posts show up. When he log in all these side effects disapear. Any ideas what's the problem ?

do you have http no cache headers enabled?

its probably a browser cache issue

"Add No-Cache HTTP Headers" vbulletin option is set to NO.
Strange is that users told me it showed up when I installed vbseo.

Do yo think I should change it to YES? As I see description for this options says it can increase server load ...

i suggest having it on.

it probably happened with vbseo because you have 1 static link now.

ie, /page/ vs showthread.php?p=whateverthepostis
which ends up calling a new browser request session from scratch

it doesn't add a lot of overhead... the browser will still load elements it has cached, like javascripts etc from its own cache, but it will CHECK the cache vs the server on the page load if it needs a new version or not.

Blah, just got message from user that problem still exists even though I set "Add No-CacheHTTP Headers" to Yes, any other ideas ?

Ask the user to clear his cache and recheck it.
