    Strange

I just took over a forum and converted it from phpBB to vBulletin. Right away I installed vbSeo and sitemap. Before the move (about 10 days ago) google indexed about 18,000 pages from the phpBB forum. I moved the forum from /forum to /community.

Now, using google web master sitemap tools, I see that the sitemap submitted about 98000 URLs. Google has spidered my site too.

When I check site:domain/community I get only about 30 URLs, mostly user profiles. How come the 80,000 posts that the forum has haven't been indexed?

When I check site:domain.com I get all the old topics from phpBB still in the google cache.

Any ideas what's going on? Is it simply too early to expect any results?

    any feedback would be appreciated

Yes, way too early to expect results. Plus, the site: searches aren't always completely accurate.
