Still problems with special chars
Hi!

I have lots of problems with special chars in titles of external links. Many links that contain special chars look like the one attached to this posting.

What can I do to avoid this?

I have full access to server configuration so I can do anything necessary.

Please check that you have mbstring PHP extension installed on your server. In this case vBSEO tries to automatically recode title charsets.

I checked with different browsers to make sure it's not browser-related.

Now I've double-checked everything.
On my server every configuration is set to "iso-8859-1" (server, source-code, mime-type).

I actually don't have a clue why this is not working as designed...
