Step D not working??

Trying to install 3.2.0.

Step D for 3.0 says, add this code above that code. The code that is suppose to be in the functions.php file is not there.
3.5 says to do this but I didn't see a plugin system or manager products in the admin CP.The instructions are for 3.0.X or
3.5.x & 3.6.x & 3.7.x.

Help!

ok, then you're reading the wrong instructions you're reading for vb 3.0.
there is no code edit required for 3.7.2

click the other tab in the left nav for 3.6 & 3.7 (2nd one from the top)
