Special characters in search results highlight

Hi,

When a search result has a special character in it, the highlight part of the URL doe not properly display and clicking on it leads to an error page.

EX , regular thread URL : velocia.ca/forums/ou-roulez-vous/18136-ca-roule-encore-quebec.html

When searching for "Ça roule encore a québec?", the same URL becomes : velocia.ca/forums/ou-roulez-vous/18136-ca-roule-encore-quebec.html?highlight=%C7a+roule+encore+a+qu%E9bec %3F.

The special characters in the highlight part of the URL don't display properly.

Any ideas how I can fix this ?

Does it work correct when you disable vBSEO ?

Thanks, you are right, this is a vB issue , the problem was still there after I disabled vBseo.

I'll post my issue on their forum.
