Special Characters Display as Codes After VBSEO Config Save

Hi!

All the special characters inside forum posts and thread URLs started to display as codes (for example, ¡ ) after I simply saved the settings in VBSEO CP, without changing any setting. You can see an example post here.

Before that they were displaying perfectly. It looks like VBSEO started to escape the characters for some reason (& gets converted to & and thus special characters don't display correctly).

I am using VBSEO 3.3.1 and VBulletin 3.8.6. How do I fix this?

vBSEO normally doesn't do anything like this. Can you please try disabling vBSEO from vBSEO CP and see if the problem is still there. If it isn't please try upgrading to vBSEO 3.5.1

The problem was still there when I disabled the vBSEO. So, maybe it's caused by something else. But the problem occurred only after I've saved settings in vBSEO CP today.

If vBSEO is disabled and it is still happening, this is not caused by vBSEO. You should disable your modifications one by one to see which is the culprit.

The problem was in vBulletin 3.8.6. Got it solved by reverting to /include/class_core.php from 3.8.5. Sorry for disturbing you.
