So I upgraded to vB4.0.5 from 3.7x and VBSEO stopped working... What did I do?

Was there something that I had missed?

Earlier this afternoon I upgraded to the latest version and used the 3.8 plugin as that was what I was running. This evening, I upgraded to vB4.0.5. I uninstalled the VBSEO plugin and then re-loaded in the plugin for 4.0. When I turned it on, all links were broken.

I'm sure I missed a step somewhere. Has this happened to anyone else?

If it's the site in your signature, I am currently seeing vBulletin4-style SEOd links, not vBSEO'd ones.

That setting is supposed to be reverted to Standard URLs by the install script when installing vBSEO. Have you changed it to Friendly URLs manually after installing vBSEO?

I had "Basic Friendly" set and I turned that off.. Now it's set for standard. Even so, when I enable VBSEO, I get broken links... I must have done something wrong.. I just can't imagine what...

Okay, I know what happened.. My htaccess file was missing.. I'll have to dig it out of a backup...
