Site hanging - possible 'license' issue?

Just a little earlier, my sites were hanging..

Is this to do with the 'license' check thing?

google had some problems. do you use adsense?

if you do, this will be the cause of your "hangings" .

Is there any confirmation by Google of this issue?

A .js include from Google shouldn't hang your site...

but it did so!!!

i disabled adsense on my website and it stopped hanging.
i saw this on many websites yesterday.

sorry, but it´s true.

here in germany some dns servers hab problems to resolve google.de and the googlesyndication servers (adsense).

It's definitely not related to the license check. If your copyright doesn't display an 'unregistered' message, your site will NOT contact our server.

Maybe.. it could have been Google analytics?

I actually had some problems on my site that seemed to be adsense related for the past couple days. I knot its not vbseo because it is on my main html pages, which arent touched by this software.

I have heard this issue reported over at DigitalPoint forums that perhaps Google underestimated the server load that Google Analytics would be generating. Although this is, of course, just hearsay.
