several vbseo/vb sitemap tool issues

For some reason google is still seeing my vb archive even though its disabled in vbseo sitemap tool and vbulletin settings. It does get blocked by my robots.txt but for whatever reason google is still seeing it. I am also getting some old urls showing up in my sitemaps and google sitemap tool is giving me a "url not followed" because google is receiving 301 redirects from these urls. The urls arent default vb formated urls they are urls from a previous vbseo config i was using probably 5+months ago. will disabling 301 in vbseo cp fix this? or is it a sitemap issue? Lastly i have had vbseo running on its current configuration for about 4+ months and still only about 1200 of my sites pages are indexed. If any one can offer any information to clarify any of these issues it would me much appreciated.

Hi Rob,

When you changed your URL format, did you overall decrease your total URLs?

This would happen if you also chose to show more posts per page or a similar vB setting.

Check your sitemaps, and regenerate them to take care of the duplicate sitemaps.

It did at first when google started to update but it only has maybe 100 more pages indexed now than with my previous setup. Currently i have 30 post per page. I went and deleted all the sitemaps off the server and then ran the sitemap generator and it will literally run as long as i let it. it never actually says done. it seems all the files do get generated though (urllist.txt.gz, sitemap_index.xml.gz, sitemap_1.xml.gz, sitemap_2.xml.gz) When i open the sitemap files the urls that google is complaining about are still there /forum/f15/post-15947
