I also had a load problem when i upgraded my php to 4.4.4 . I rolled back to 4.4.3 and choosed ioncube and APC Cache instead of zend and eaccelerator and my loads dropped a lot.

i'm running the latest php 5.2.0 and i noticed an increase across the board in all my php scripts execution times.
If you can, upgrade to it.
EDIT- i meant "decrease". performance is much better.Last edited by briansol; 02-07-2007 at 09:05 AM.
