Server load

Yeah...I thought this might be a problem.

My server load has gone quite high since installing vbseo. Here's what I'm getting in my whm:
Top Process%CPU 24.0/usr/bin/php vbseo.php
Top Process%CPU 22.0/usr/bin/php vbseo.php
Top Process%CPU 9.6/usr/bin/php vbseo.php
Its making my server overload, lagging the site and eventually shutting down my server.

Is there something I can do to make this run better? I'm using the ioncube version 3.0.0 rc3. Running vb 3.5.4.

Should I get my server tech to install zend...would that work better? He's telling me to remove it or else the site will crash constantly...I first wanted to see what I could do...if there is something I can do to help this.

EDIT: I just disabled it, now I'm getting these server loads:
