Search Engine Crawling very slow lately...

I am a little concerned with a test I ran the other day. Here is the example...

I posted up a tutorial article on my site and another site at the same time. I entered the title of the thread into the search engines such as Google and Yahoo. The next day the thread showed up on the top of the list for the other website (E46Fanatics), yet mine is nowhere to be found. I dig for pages and pages but can't locate it unless i put my website title after the keywords in the search engine.

I am curious on why this is happening and how to fix this. It also gets me thinking what else i am doing wrong or what i can do to improve the efficiency of vbSEO.

Giving away your content to the competition is your first mistake :P

e46fanatics is an established big board site that has been around for a decade.
your site is fairly new, and VERY broad, covering 10 other things besides cars, and 25 other makes besides bmw, and XXX other models besides the e46.
The specificity always wins over broad.


niche down, clean it up, or you will always be somewhere down the mix as google can't decide what your site is about.
