Same member pages

Hello!

We are having an issue on my site, Powerstroke.org. We have a new member that has a really similar name to an older member. His name is Powerstrokin' and now a new member has joined named: POWERSTROKIN. When you go to view the profile for the old member it takes you to the new members profile page. Also, the new member has the old members avatar! I tried turning off URL rewrites for avatars and Members and it says that its successful but nothing has changed.

Any ideas?

we suggest to include [user_id] part in ember profile URL format to avoid issues with similar usernames, i.e. change it in vbseocp to:

members/[user_name]-[user_id].html

I changed it to that but still, every time I go to look at his profile it takes me to /members/powerstrokin.html instead of his USER ID. I checked the config file and it is setup for ID like I told it to but its still not going there when you click on his profile.

Any ideas?

Please open a support ticket with your vbseocp password for troubleshooting.

I had this problem once too I think and especially when both members having "Username Me" and "<< Username >>" or with some other characters/symbols. Can this be ever fixed in the next release?
