    Rewrite for attachments causing problems?

Hi all, my forums import and export posts to a newsgroup, it seems that when i create an attachment the url posted to the newsgroups is http://www.thecodecage.com/attachmen...ttachmentid=25 which when clicked gets an error page, the real attachment url after rewrite is The Code Cage Forums
my problem is that folk cannot follow the simple url link to get to the attachment, how do i cure that?

    Regards,
    Simon

    Hello,

it looks like that mod omits "/forumz/" in the URL, that's why it doesn't work.

What was the solution? I'm having a similar problem where attachments are causing MySQL to crash.

Yep, it was an oversite on my behalf when installing the nntp software, the software gives you prompts for each section on how the url(s) should look, i simpy changed it for my forum name forgetting that the attachments are saved with in the forum root!

    Regards,
    Simon
