Registration Rates and Direct Traffic went down

I enabled vbSEO about a week ago on my forum, and noticed that Direct Traffic (according to Google Analytics) and Registrations per day have decreased noticeably.

I've registered new accounts from several different computers and email addresses to check and see if there is an issue, but I don't see one.

Has anyone experienced anything similar with their forums?

What was the source of your traffic before (primary)? Is there a particular source that has dropped off?

Primary source of traffic was and is still Google free search, and seems to have increased since I implemented vbSEO. But I think that's because I didn't have Analytics on my Archive pages before.

It looks like it's just Direct traffic, and total registrations per day that have dipped.

If it's direct traffic and not organic search traffic, you might need to liven up your site with some fresh content to keep your visitors coming back.

I understand that, but I thought it was a strange coincidence that the direct traffic started dipping the day I implemented vbSEO. I just wanted to know if anyone else had a similar situation happen.
