    Registered user errors

(I already posted this at the vb forums, and they directed me here)

For some reason this registered user is having problems. For example, anywhere I click their username in the forums, this URL is what it takes me to:
    Conspiracy-Forums - Lak'esh

    And I get this message:
This user has not registered and therefore does not have a profile to view.
But the only place that it is a working URL is in the members list, which works fine:
    http://www.conspiracy-forums.com/mem...n-lak-esh.html

Any Ideas on why the URL's are different?

    Hello,

it's recommended to include [user_id] in member URL format to avoid any possible URL conflicts:
    members/[user_name]-[user_id].html

But even if I do add that ID to the end, how does that effect how the username in the URL is spelled?

    Because "in-lak-esh" works, and "in-lakesh" doesn't.

ALSO: How do I add that ID to the member list URL? all my other threads have IDs to them

Please try this: Links to member profile pages: Rewrite problems with special chars
ALSO: How do I add that ID to the member list URL?
Member list URLs do not need user_id included, only member profile URLs.

That's what I meant, member profile URL's. Where do I add that portion (userID)? I looked around for it, but couldn't find it (or that other link's section, "define.....").

And, the userID part makes sure there's no broken member URL's like I'm experiencing now, right?

You should click [+] to expand Advanced URL Rewrite options in vbseocp.

    That's right.
