Question if I am using CMPS 3.0 RC2

Adding to the Sticky-- Installation Tips From A Newbie Who Just Installed vBSEO 3.0.0 Gold

I am a little bit upset at the directions included as I gather the OP was as well. Anyhow.......

Modifying the htaccess file is not "really an issue now" as I figured out how to modify it per the OP's instructions.

My question is this. If I am running CMPS 3.0 RC2 on my forum, If I modify the htaccess file per the instructions when uploaded and saved, it reverts my forum URL to the "forum" page, not the CMPS page with all my modules on it. The only way I can use the CMPS page is if I revert my htaccess file to the backup of my forum. This is defeating the purpose honestly as I cannot use the VBSEO script on my forum.

How do I add my CMPS page with modules to the VBSEO htaccess file?? But allow it to search my "forum" not just the CMPS page.

CMPS is also known as vbadvanced.

    Hello,

you should not modify vBSEO's .htaccess for for vBa CMPS. Do you get an error after uploading default vBSEO .htaccess file?

    Replied to your ticket.
