    Protecting my forums

I just moved my config.php out out my forum root using <?php require('/home/var/somedir/config.php'); ?>

Would it be safe to do this with the vBSEO config_vbseo.php as well, or would this require anything extra to look at?

I do not know if that will work, however you may rename the file, and open all of the vbseo files included in your zip and find: config_vbseo.php and rename it to the new file.

It does seem to work, but as I'm often wrong with my assumptions I'm asking

and thanks, I'll try to combine both.

It seems it wasn't entirely working after all. It think some kind of cookie problem would be in order as I can't login to the config_vbseo.php anymore after a couple of hours.
