I just tried moving the placement of the "stats" button to some different spots(middle left default is blocked by tweetboard). When I selected bottom-left and hard refresh the page and click on it, I am redirected to the hompage. Lol.

    Something's broke.

Ace, do you download your software from the same link the rest of us do? Just curious.

    Thanks

    Yep!

If it makes a difference, I didn't download and install until about 3 hours ago. The package has been updated between release and when I grabbed it, so if you grabbed it a while ago, re-download and try again.

Digging around further reveals this error in the error log

    Code:
[Sun Jun 13 15:54:55 2010] [error] [client xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function ls_tpl_fetch() in /home/xxxx/public_html/includes/class_bootstrap.php(384) : eval()'d code on line 125, referer: http://www.mydomain.com/vbseocp.php
    Still digging.

This is a totally different string than what you put in for Analytics Tracking.

Please try adding the Website ID and let us know if it works for you.
    Two things:

First, I think you have "website ID" and "profile ID" confused. The instructions say to use "profile ID" and not "website ID" as you suggest. Second, "website ID" IS the same as the code used for tracking--without the prefix and suffix. Neither works. Neither does adding or subtracting email domain, nor does moving the stats button around.

I will try downloading, reuploading, and reinstalling 3.5.1 again...

Has the livestats product been updated too?

WOW! There are about 70 fewer files to upload. 123 versus about 200-something before; no .htaccess to overwrite mine either...

    Hello,

There appears to be a problem with the download package. Oleg fixed a separate bug earlier today, and it looks like the package exported incorrectly. Please wait for his response in this thread before installing again.

I don't have anything confused, you may do though. The two IDs are TOTALLY different (324512 and UA-361662-1 for example) for every one of my sites. If yours are the same, that's a major fluke, and one I find quite unlikely.

Website ID assigned in Google Analytics. It will be filled automatically when you have login and password set.
You can gather your id from Google Analytics account. Please check the link where you edit your site settings and check the id within the url https://www.google.com/analytics/set...ry?id=xxxxxxxx

Sorry, I was not very clear. It is the nomenclature that you are using--it is reversed. "Website ID" looks like this ua-999999-1 and it is not what should be used if I understand correctly. "Profile ID" is what should be used and does not look like that. Unfortunately you told people to use "website ID" in an above post.

I'm just trying to help...it's a minor point so I'll shut up now.

EDIT: I see the source of the confusion--"Website ID" is what you are asked to enter in the admincp. It maybe should say "profile ID". A bug? Or have I gone completely nuts?
