    Problems with IIS / ReWrite

    Hello All

Ok, having real problems getting this working with IIS

Ive installed all the new Zend stuff (v3) which was ok.

Ive also installed the ISAPI Rewrite module (Tried the free and full version)

Added in the rewrite rules from isapi_rewrite.txt to httpd.ini

Got all of the VBSEO installed and working, apart from all the rewrite stuff.

When i enable it, it does what its supposed to do:

General Conversation - UK-Muscle Body Building Community - Bodybuilding Forum

    Turns into

    http://www.uk-muscle.co.uk/general-conversation/

But, then when i click on the rewritten URL, it just takes me to a 404 page.

    Any ideas whats going wrong?

    Ta

    Paul

    Hello Paul,

please try to modify your RewriteCond line in httpd.ini to:
    Code:
    RewriteCond URL ^/vBroot/(?!admincp/|modcp/|clientscript/|cpstyles/|images/).*
Replace "/vBroot" with your forums root url and restart IIS.

    Hello Paul,

yes, this replacement should be applied to all occurences and in your case it's just "/"
