About LinkBacksI just started installing vbseo (on my vb 3.0.7) and uploaded all the files into their proper directories. I've yet to edit the /includes/functions.php, but as soon as I uploaded the .htaccess file, my entire forum started behaving very strangely (icons and graphic files were not loading up and the layout of the forum was very wacky). I could see that the URL's of my threads now included the thread title. As soon as I deleted .htaccess everything went to normal.
Should this be happening? Will everything be smoothed out once I follow the rest of the install instructions (editing functions.php)?
Thanks in advance for any input anyone can provide.

the URLs should not be rewritten until you edited functions.php (vB3.0.x) or installed the plugin (vB3.5.x).
