| Problem right after uploading files (even before editing functions.php)
I just started installing vbseo (on my vb 3.0.7) and uploaded all the files into their proper directories. I've yet to edit the /includes/functions.php, but as soon as I uploaded the .htaccess file, my entire forum started behaving very strangely (icons and graphic files were not loading up and the layout of the forum was very wacky). I could see that the URL's of my threads now included the thread title. As soon as I deleted .htaccess everything went to normal. Should this be happening? Will everything be smoothed out once I follow the rest of the install instructions (editing functions.php)? Thanks in advance for any input anyone can provide.       |

Hello jwocky, the URLs should not be rewritten until you edited functions.php (vB3.0.x) or installed the plugin (vB3.5.x). Please PM me your forums URL.
