problem configuring vbseo

Hi i have a strange problem when i configure vbseo from vbseocp.php: when i change rewrite rules for forums/thread and i save them they are correctly saved and re-displayed on reload, but if i access the forum main page the new rules are not used and clicking on a "vbseo-ed" forum link gives an error (it says forum doesn't exist).

If i set default/vbseocom settings from vbseocp.php the same happens, they are displayed correctly in vbseocp but they are not apllied in the forum, if i try to set them again and again then they are applied on the forum too.

I have a local test box where i try my rewrite rules before applying them on the real forum so i'm sure they are ok. Even trying to export from test box and importing into the real forum doesn't help.

I tried vbseo 3.0.0rc5 and rc4 (i overwrited rc5 files and vbulletin Product with rc4, clean config_vbseo.php file, is this ok?), using vbulletin 3.6.1.

I really don't know anything else i could try....i can't do a clean vb/vbseo reinstall because it is a large board in production.
