    PR consolidate on index.php

    Hello all,

Today I have realised that I am getting PR leakage on my root index page, so I currently have:

    PR2 - http://www.mysite.com/
    PR1 - http://www.mysite.com/index.php
    PR1 - http://www.mysite.com/index.php?

having looked through the VBSEO options I have found the "Define Homepage Aliases" option however these seems to be for the forum root page. I currently have CMPS running on index.php and vbulletin forum home on forum.php

You would add this to remove the index's

    index.php
    index.php?

That should point it all to just mysite.com

Unless I have added those value to the incorrect setting that, for the reasons mentioned above, doesn't work.

On my site "index.php" is the vbAdvanced CMPS page, and the vbulletin "forum index" is "forum.php". If I put:

    index.php
    index.php?

Into the "Define Homepage Aliases" vbseocp option and then navigate to:

    http://www.mysite.com/index.php

    I am redirected to:

    http://www.mysite.com/forum.php

whereas I need it to redirect to:

    http://www.mysite.com/

you should use forum.php and forum.php? in that entry block.

you'll have to take up the other issue with vba (or, uninstall it.... :X)

The fact that VBA is on the index.php page is somewhat irrelevant, however you would have to drag VBA out of my cold dead hands

So, there is nothing in vbseo to allow me to rewrite "index.php?" & "index.php" to "/"? Time to break out the htaccess file me thinks
