Post New Thread => white page

Hi Guys,

some of my users noticed a strange problem: they click on the button "Submit New Thread" und got redirected to a white page (URL: "...newthread.php?do=postthread&f=...")

Is this a vbseo problem? Can anyone help?

Is this indeed a fix? We just moved our forum to a new server and one of our users said this was happening to him. I'm unable to recreate the problem even logging in as said user.......

The mem on the new server was 24M. Just changed it to 32M

I haven't heard of any problems yet with posting new threads, but I just went to rename a thread and got a white page. What's the fix for that?

I even tried upping the php memory to 40M with no luck.

try to increase it to 64M and if that doesn't help open a support ticket with ftp access for troubleshooting.

Does it work correct when you temporary disable vBSEO from vBSEO CP

yes
just close the SEO It was published regularly

Note that this does not occur in all publications.
Usually done in publications with more than 2-3 images and text with lots of characters

How about links? are you publishing a lot of urls in the page? The external title look up process may be causing the issue. try turning off that setting.

I disabled Seo functions -> add thread titles and nothing has changed.

Are trying from the morning to create a publication and have not succeeded
The publication contains only one link, but without link does not change anything
Specifically I want to put the post below:

and gives me a white page and is url = Supa mou pes

Hello Nikos,

Trying to determine the cause of a blank page in vBulletin it's a hard task to do. There are many things that could conflict with your vBSEO installation, for example:

* You may receive an error message that you are not seeing; try to check your phpinfo and make sure you have enabled "display_errors" directive in your php.ini. If not, try to put this right after <?php in your includes/config.php file:

ini_set("display_errors", true); 

And try to publish the thread again to see if you receive an error message.

* Your memory_limit setting in php configuration.

* Your custom style.

* Double compressing with mod_gzip enabled on Apache and a setting within vBulletin Admin CP.

* A wrong rewrite rule (or a redirect as well) defined in your .htaccess file or vBSEO CP.

* Character replacements.

etc.

So I would suggest you opening a new thread with all relevant details of the issue in our troubleshooting forum to assist you more faster and better.

observed that the problem do so when in the Post code exists php, either as a code, either by copy-paste from a source
Post below to try to do editing and add "(" and takes only a blank page
