Possible problem with memcached and linkback approval?

    Hello,

I installed memcached Yesterday to help with server loads etc, and all seems well. Apart from two things. First thing (not your problem), is it appears to have broken vbgooglemap_me.

Second thing is when I went to approve a linkback it didn't work, it's been working fine before I installed memcached and I cant think I've done anything else between times that could affect it.

I deleted the link back request, and that worked fine (typically, I didn't expect it to!), and I don't get that many to reproduce what happened first time around (I cant remember the specific error message). Basically it didn't work, and has done before installing memcached.

Any ideas what could be up?

    Hello Paul,

do you have other pending linkbacks so that we can reproduce the issue? Please open a support ticket with mod account login then.

No linkback requests at the moment, the feature is hardly used by anyone. Which is why I was frustrated when the delete worked because it was gone!

For what it is worth I am using memcached to store the datastore and have had no problems with linkbacks.
