    PM Attachments 3.5

    Does anyone have this hack installed PM Attachments 3.5.

    Since installing vbseo it has not worked as it should when I send a file a click on the file sends me to forum/index.php or if sending a picture it does not display.

    Any advice is gratefully received.

    Check the 2nd Similar Thread down below and see if that's your issue also.

    Ok. If you don't have any CRR's defined then it must not be the same issue as the other one.

    Juan or Oleg will have to check it out.

    Hello Zooman,

    the problem appears because you have URL format defined for attachment links and it includes the thread title, which cannot be applied in the case of "private message attachments" hack.

    For the moment, you can turn off attachment rewrites in vbseocp to get it working.

    We will solve the issue with this hack in vBSEO 2.3.3.

    Thats the one, cheers.

    It is a very good hack and I am glad I can continue using both VBSEO and PM hack (IMHO PM attachments should be an built in option with VB).

    I installed vbseo a few days ago and have had the PM Attachments hack installed for a few months.

    All is good apart from the odd pm sql error message .........

    Database error in vBulletin 3.5.0:

    Invalid SQL:

    UPDATE attachment SET
    postid = 4294967295,
    usedin = 'pmtextid',
    itemid = 19490,
    posthash = ''
    WHERE posthash = 'f2c0baa4424a0b64d806fbd11fde8e1f'
    AND userid =;

    MySQL Error : You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 7

    Rewrite attachment URLs is switched off

    The pm still gets sent even though a member sees the error message.

    And it doesn't happen all the the time. I've sent 30 pm's today, and only had this error twice.

    Any ideas how to fix would be appreciated

    Helllo,

    is this error appearing when you send PMs only or when listing/viewing too?
    Do you have a test forums account that I can use to check this issue?

    Thanks!

    Thanks for the reply.

    The error is only appearing when a pm is sent.

    I haven't got a test forum set up, and it's a bit difficult to duplicate the issue as most pm's are fine. It seems to "pick" on users as today has been ok for me, but 4 sql errors today from 2 members who were pm'ing each other ..... and now they say everything is good again. LoL !

    I'm tempted to remove pm attachments anyway as it's not used much ...... and vbseo is far more important to me.

    I'll work on setting up a test forum ( would be useful for other bits I do ) ..... and will report back

    Thanks again.

    Hi,

    oh, I meant test *account*, not testing forum instance
    Just a login that I can use to send PMs.
