This bug is already fixed however international boards sometimes face that problem because of the character replacements.

My forum is English and i'm using latest version of vb and vbseo . i have this problem too ! and i'm not using any Rewrite rules for pictures and albums . when i turn off the vbseo i can see all the images but when it is on images are missing .
i'm going to check the post that u suggest but i hope u will fix it in next releases
