php 5.25 breaks quick-reply

I just upgraded my php to 5.2.5-2 yesterday and quick-reply is having issues. Posting a quick reply puts up an hourglass and the turning icon, and everything seems to hang. Pressing the post button again gives the error message that the same text was posted in the last five minutes. Refreshing the page shows that the post was, in fact, submitted.

When I disable vbseo, quick-reply works fine. I don't know if this is a vbseo issue or a php issue, but if anyone else is having this problem, what did you do as a workaround (besides disabling quick-reply)?

I'm running RHEL4 64 bit, apache 2.052-32 ent, mysql 4.1.20-2.RHEL4.1, and vB 3.68 patch 2.

you should get firebug and look at the ajax response and make sure its sending properly.

I found another issue since the upgrade: Multi- Quote is not working any longer. I would really appreciate some help with this if anyone knows what to do.

I tried firebug, but do not understand if the ajax response is working/ sending properly. Not sure how to read the output.

It turns out it was not VBSEO at all. I left a piece of an old template in the postbit where it had been changed and did not belong. Sorry for the trouble. Thank you and everyone else for the help offers.

This was not supposed to be in the template.

With this in the postbit, multi-quote and quick reply would not work. I thought it was VBSEO as when I disabled it, the quick reply would work 'one time' and then break. Anyway, thanks again.
