    Page cannot be displayed!

    Hi guys,

I've bought and installed VBSeo, but since installing it, the links on my forums haven't worked. When I click on a thread title, I get a "this page cannot be displayed" screen (obviously down to the link format being changed).

I'm fairly sure i've got Mod-Rewrite enabled (not sure how to check, but according to other people with the same host, they're sure that Mod_Rewrite is enabled). I've also set up the .htaccess file

Does anyone have any ideas what the problem is at all? Did VBSeo need configuring at all, or should it have started working as soon as it was installed?

    Thanks guys, i'm frustrated! LOL

    Hello Briggsy,

    welcome aboard!

You can try to put these rewrite rule in .htaccess to check if mod_rewrite is working:
    RewriteRule redirect-test\.html http://www.google.com
And the try to open redirect-test.html page.

Hi Oleg, thanks for the help.

That seems to work OK, so do you know what else could be stopping my links from working when I install VBSeo?

I had my .htaccess file in the root directory, instead of the forum directory.
