OpenX is not compatible with VBSEO

    Hi all,

I just purchased my VBSEO product today. It looks like a great product, but I run into a few issues. First of all, VBSEO is rewritting the URLs generated by OpenX. For example, an URL like this one:

    Code:
    http://www.test.com/openx/www/send/unc.php?oaparams=2__bannerid=8__zoneid=3__cb=b56f17cb93__maxdest=http://www.test.com/revista-presei.php
    gets rewritten to this variant:

    Code:
    http://www.test.com/openx/www/send/unc.php?oaparams=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.test.com%2F2__bannerid%3D8__zoneid%3D3__cb%3Db56f17cb93__maxdest%3Dhttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.test.com%2Frevista-presei.php
If I disable the product, then the URLs for OpenX are again correctly generated.

I digged a bit into this and I noticed this: the URL is correctly generated by OpenX but when the URL is replaced in a variable in a VB template, VBSEO is overriding the URL. How do I stop this ?

The second thing that bothers me is that I have to install VBSEO on the same domain were it is registered. This is not very good for me. I am a developer, so for a site like this one: www.somesite.com, I have many local-defined sites like www.somesite100.com, www.somesite101.com, www.somesite102.com, www.somesite103.com aso. Each such site is only accessible on my PC.

I read on some thread that I can have a test license. Please tell me how can I get this test license ?

    Regards,
    Razvan

I run openX and have 0 issues with vbseo.

try adding unc.php to the exclusion list in the portal
    Exclude Pages?
Use regular expressions here to exclude scripts and/or pages from being affected by vBSEO. This prevents rewriting as well as copyright insertion.

I already tried this before creating this thread and it is not working. This clearly is a bug in VBSEO. I issued a bug report here:

VBSEO is messing up certain URLs (it is affecting OpenX)
