"Not-read" icon not shown

Hi!

If one clicks on the link pointing to the next unread posting (xxxxx-new-post.html) then there is no icon shown that indicates that this is a new post.

Please have a look at the attached images.

The first one shows a new post after clicking to the xxx-new-post.html-link. The icon in the upper left corner is blue, indicating that this article is already read.

If I go to a new post using a different link (go to the last page of a thread e.g.) the icon is orange, showing that this is a new post. This is shown in the second image.

Here in this forum you can see the same behavior. I am sure this is vbSEO-related.

Is this by design or just a tiny bug?

are you set to 'Database (automatic forum marking)' in your vb options - > general settings?

Yes.

Haven't changed this for years. Don't see any influence to the problem I described.

I have this same problem with new posts as well. The status icon is not updated to "new-post" when a post is made in select few subforums. Also, the title of the last post is not listed in the Last Post column unless the post was made in one subforum. It seems like certain subforums are not updating with "new-post" status icons. This problem did not exist before the vBSeo install. Basically one subforum "MLB" works, while all the other subforums don't.

Please advise.

Should I remove vBSeo completely, and reinstall?

could you please open a ticket with testing account and example URLs to reproduce the issue? (this problem should have been fixed in vBSEO3.2.0)
