when my users try to go to last post viewed it doesn't do that but rather takes them pages back...
what could be the fix or problem?

Hello,
when I click on the "...thread-title-last-post.html" links at your forums, I'm always redirected to the last post in the thread.

Can you please describe how to reproduce this problem? (does it happens also to you?)

How far off are they talking about? On a totally wrong page, or just back a few posts on the correct page?
If it's just a couple of posts off, it could be this known issue:
first new post link
they claim back a few pages.
still having this problem..
after I read a whole thread and I go back to forumhome and then click on the same thread in the last post column it takes me back to posts I have already read instead of the "last" post
Do the posts show as old or new? (The small icon at the top left of each post, to the left of the date/time.)
show as unread
Is it jumping to the first one that vBulletin is showing as unread, but that happens to be one that has already been read by the user? If so, that means that vBulletin isn't marking them as read for some reason.
Using vBulletin 3.5.1 and the database for storing thread/post pointers?
3.8 or something
but yah that is what it's doing.. not storing the read posts
If you want better message marking, you need to go to vBulletin 3.5.1 since it has the option of using database for the tracking of those. vBulletin 3.0.x uses a cookie and just goes by the last time the user logged in.
This isn't anything caused by vbSEO though....
Well it only started since I installed vbSEO thus it must be caused by it...Originally Posted by ConqSoft

@rex_b,
could you please describe how to reproduce this issue at your forums - I tried many times and never got this problem? (i.e. "open the thread [link], return to forumdisplay [link] and click last-post icon [link]")
Btw, this is what I just found in the thread you linked to (with problem reported by your users):
Whatever you did, it seems to be working just fine now!![]()
