    No indexed pages :s

Well I have installed vBSEO for quite a while now, when I search for indexed pages I don't find very much. Most of my old vB pages that were indexed on google have dissapeared and hardly any 'vbseo' urls have been indexed on Google (Even with a sitemap.) , some old URLs are indexed and that's it..

    I'm really wondering what's going wrong :s

9 days is not 'quite a while' when talking about SEO.

I wouldn't even say 180 days was 'quite a while'. 2 years, yep.

SEO is something that requires patience.

Well that's not what I'm worrying about, what i'm worrying about is the fact a lot of indexed pages I had before (was getting quite a lot of traffic) has dissapeared ever since I installed vBSEO.

    Of course they have.

The new URLs in your forum are being 301 redirected from the old ones, so when Google hits the old ones, your forum says 'Hey Google, this file no longer exists at the old location, it has now moved here.'

The sooner this happens the better, as the engines can then get working on indexing your new, consolidated URLs.

    weeks 1-3, expect less traffic
weeks 3-5 expect to see a turn around
week 6+, hang on for the ride
