new host! vbseo not displaying pages!

I have just moved to a new host and at first when i would go to my forum url i would get blank pages so i reuploaded the vBSEO files in binary mode and i can now see my forum index. The problem is my site doesnt not like vbseo's rewritten urls. so when i click on a thread of forum i get 404 errors. obviously when i turn vbseo off all threads/forums load fine. I am assuming this is an issue with my .htaccess file? any suggestions?

Yes, make sure the .htaccess file is present and make sure that your new host supports mod_rewrite.

well i have a dedicated server and i checked the httpd.conf and 'LoadModule rewrite_module modules/mod_rewrite.so' is in there so im assuming that it is enabled.

well i guess some thing is wrong with my apache config because if i create an .htaccess file in my site root and put 'deny myip' it still allows me to see the homepage if any one has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. i have a dedicated server using centos and i use webmin to manage apache.

I'm having the same problem however the last reply of "fixed" isn't helping me much. I moved to a new dedicated today and mod_rewrite is enabled however some of the threads I go to are missing the "forum" path causing the 404 error. Other's work fine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Folks, the solution to my problem from the support ticket:

Resave corresponding subforums in vBulletin admincp->Forum manager and that fixed the problem.
