| History: Cluster, 4 servers, currently utilizing 1 db and webserver. 4 vBulletin sites - 2 with vbseo ( 3.0.0 RC8 ) running vBulletin 3.6.8 - 2 without vbseo running vBulletin 3.6.8 E-accelerator installed. Php 5.2.4 FreeBSD 6.2 ioncube_loader_fre_5.2.so All sites have been moved from the current dedicated servers to the new cluster. All sites performed well with the current setup on those servers. All sites with NO vbseo are blistering fast. LOL, seriously, they are fast (happy on that account Now, the sites running vbseo seem to fall into some trap here. You can surf the site continually and get great load speeds ex: Page generated in 0.24130 seconds with 17 queries [Server Loads: 0.26 0.27 : 0.34] Then, randomly on the vBseo sites i will get this: Page generated in 12.79376 seconds with 18 queries [Server Loads: 0.28 0.29 : 0.32] I cannot replicate this poor response time on any one page, but only through surfing. It's hit and miss and i have had pages generated up to 40 seconds. So, to trouble shoot i have disabled vbseo and disabled the pluggin in admincp and still, on those sites which to my understanding are vbseo free now after disabling, they still hic-up. However, the other sites remain fine and speedy. I have tried and tried to replicate the error on the non vbseo sites but i just cant. However, i can't get the vbseo sites to work properly. Anyone have input ?

| Seeing your response, i upgraded the 2nd site in question Page generated in 6.12106 seconds with 19 queries [Server Loads: 0.27 0.43 : 0.43] Page generated in 11.04146 seconds with 19 queries [Server Loads: 0.18 0.37 : 0.41] Page generated in 0.39071 seconds with 17 queries [Server Loads: 0.19 0.32 : 0.38] Page generated in 11.36865 seconds with 18 queries [Server Loads: 0.20 0.31 : 0.38] Page generated in 0.30806 seconds with 17 queries [Server Loads: 0.84 0.47 : 0.43] Page generated in 3.53422 seconds with 18 queries [Server Loads: 0.57 0.45 : 0.42] Page generated in 0.23553 seconds with 13 queries [Server Loads: 0.73 0.49 : 0.44] Page generated in 10.75754 seconds with 17 queries [Server Loads: 0.52 0.46 : 0.43] That is basically surfing the site that i just upgraded. Every click i posted the response time. I have just tested the another vBseo site on the server. It's running vBulletin 3.6.8 and 3.0.0 RC8. Site in question is Theyre from the same dedicated server previously. The plot thickens!! LOL I am even more baffled. Last edited by NICEGUY77; 11-30-2007 at 12:47 AM. |
