Need to update the domain my expired license is associated with

Hi-

My license for vbseo has expired but I am having to change the name of my domain/forum due to trademark infringement. I would like to update the domain so I can remain compliant with vbseo/whatever. Does this mean I have to renew? Who do I have to email to have my license correct? or, do I need to do nothing?

You will have to renew to change the domain name. Just go to the download page, and renew it, then open a ticket with the new url you need to change it too.

I personally don't see why I should need to renew to change my domain name. My vBulletin license doesn't require I do this when updating their license. This is silly.

If I use vbseo on the new domain, will this cause problems? is vbseo going to suddenly stop working? I will be having a permanent redirect to the new domain.

Your vbseo would not work on the new domain name. In order for it to work, you will need to renew your license.

ok.. so it's not possible to seamlessly move my license to a new domain without my site going down while I go and renew the domain with the latest domain info?..

although I imagine my specific case is not that common but still.. dammit.

According to our Transfer Policy: Buying or Selling a vBSEO License you must have an active license. Therefor if you want to update your domain name , you need to renew your license.

ok, so I renewed it and I can presumably update the license domain when I change the domain.
it's not showing that it is renewed yet, how long will that take?
