I was checking out my Google Analytics results and found this
70.06% "Registration" Abandonment Rate
Now, I'm paying $10/day @ $300/mo max and I'm losing 70% of the registrations. In the past month, I got 2,908 clicks via my Adwords and only 209 registrations.
Can someone please hint me as to why this would be happening? Is this a normal result or is something not right on my end? The site is talkjesus.com
Do you think these are just ignorant clicks or perhaps the extensive profile registration is a turn-off? The purpose of the extra profile fields are two reasons: more extended and personal profile for the member, plus troll prevention (a technique per se). All new registrations are moderated too.
Attached is my .htaccess rewrite rules
I'm also not in the top 100,000 on Alexa rankings. Its not the most important, but at least does make me wonder. I used to be around 70k on the rankings when I had less than half the members. I get about 70 Google adword clicks average per day, about 100 - 125 logged in members per day too.
I really need tips, advice, etc to boost traffic both paid and free. Please help!
