    Moving .htaccess settings to httpd.conf

OK I have read that having the .htaccess information placed in the httpd.conf on a dedicated server will result in saved server resources.

What exactly do I add to the httpd.conf? Just cut and paste the .htaccess info in there?

My forum root is /bbs if that matters.

    THANKS for the help
