Modified index page name

I renamed my forum index.php to index-subjects.php. Now all the links to my new custom index.php are rewritten as index-subjects.php. This happens for example in the navbar template. I haven't discovered where else it may happen. How do I get index.php to remain index.php? Thanks.

mm.. why did you renamed it to index-subjects.php (and changed forums homepage in vB admincp options?) if you want it to remain as index.php? Could you please provide more details ?

I wanted to use a page other than the default vBulletin page for the home page. My Forum URL is Ask Experts Questions for FREE!.

Nevermind, I fixed it now. I changed index.php to / in the templates.
