Minor gripe
Hi All

As you know I have bought vBSEO, however during the last few days this has been useless getting reports etc.

The main problem is:

If vbseo.com and crawlability is down (which it has been a lot recently) When I go to look at my reports etc, because it cannot contact home it does not display. This is highly annoying as I have paid for the software in full and should not have to call home at all.

A suggestion, when I do go into my reports etc, do not call home, all you are doing is advertising your product and I have already bought it!

This is a major annoyance with me and the only thing I can fault vBSEO on.

vBSEO only contacts vBSEO server in order to verify the license. So your problem is related to something else. Another qestion what reports are you talking about ?

Hi Ged,

You are talking about /vbseo_sitemap , yes?

What you describe shouldn't be happening... can you try clearing your local browser cache and revisiting the page?

This calls up a page with logos etc from vBSEO and it tries to contact crawlability.com

If the server cannot be contacted it does not show any pages etc.

Reading back my first post, it seems like I was rather strong, I did not mean this to come across like that, its only a minor thing but I did say major in the post.

Dam thats what happens after 12 bottles of Stella Artois :(

Time for humble pie, it would appear that their was a transit problem from the UK to the States (or wherever your server is)

However what this does prove is that if your site is ever unreachable, the sitemap reporting is pointless.
