OMG, I wish I hadn't started doing this upgrade. Now my site is down. I did steps A, B, and C of the upgrade instructions, and after uploading the files, I now get the following error when I attempt to go to forums/vbseocp.php.

"Fatal error: Unable to read 148278 bytes in /home/dazzlin/public_html/forums/includes/functions_vbseo.php on line 0"

I've tried to reupload the files several times, in case there was a bad upload. What do I do???? (panicking)

Ok, I've managed to restore my old files, and my site is back up again. I'm not sure I'll ever have the courage to try this update again.

That error is caused by uploading in ASCII mode. You need to make sure you force your FTP client to use BINARY mode. (Or open a support ticket with FTP an AdminCP access and we can do the upgrade for you.)
