members profile url problem

    members profile url problem

    Hi

    I just upgraded my VB from 3.7 to 4.0.2 , and I also upgraded Vbseo to 3.5 RC2

    But after the upgrade I got some problem :

    - in forum homepage the members profiles are not clickable
    - in forum display all members url is : domain.com/members/a-0.html

    I checked the rewrite setting and evrything seems to be ok

    what is the problem ?

    BTW ; I tried this guide for : VBseo installed in aroot . to make CMS --> domain.com and forum to domain.com/gsm

    but it doesnt worked

    it was an htaccess problem ,the cms is working fine now , but still the members problem url exist

    check it please...

    Please check vBSEO CP > Other Enchanments > Guest Only Enchanments and check following settings.

    Remove Member DHTML Popup Dropdowns in Postbit For Guest Visitors?
    Remove Last Post Links Options

    Hello,

    The following bug(?):
    I have a member called "Đave", but when I click on profile, another users profile page see:
    Landing Bikemag profile page instead of Bikemag (Đave)

    What's wrong?

    IF you allow special characters in user names, you should include the ID in the rewrite.
    you can also try the beta feature
    general settings > character replacements > advanced tab

    Enable special characters in member URLs ?



    set to yes

    Seem "Enable special characters in member URLs" solved the problem.

    i have the same problem. Look at this page please : S

    You can see that in tsticky threads there is no problem with members' urls. But the other urls are is like that

    /members/a-0.html

    What is the problem and what should i do ?

    In Vb ADMIN

    check : Maintenance ---> Update Counters

    and
    Rebuildsome tables ( members profiles ..ect)
