Members can not view attachments since vbseo has been installed..

Since I've installed vbseo when members and myself click on an attachment picture to view it, it brings us to the log in screen saying we don't have permission or logged in. Is there a setting with vbseo that would be causing this?

If you temporary disable vBSEO from vBSEO Cp , do they work correctly ?

Also did you try to rebuild your bitfields , you can rebuild them by following yourdomain.com/admincp/index.php?do=buildbitfields

If I disable vbseo, it works. when vbseo is disabled, this is the url link for the attachment :

BlackberryOS.com

when vbseo IS active, this is the url link for the attachment :

BlackberryOS.com


Also, when vbseo is active, the attachments show a thumbnail, when vbseo is active, there is no thumbnail.

can you give us an exmaple thats not in your administrators forum so we can see it?

Attachment viewing problem

Your attachments require login to view them. Please create a support ticket with vBSEO Cp login and temporary Admin Cp login so we can check.

Thats the thing, you dont need to log in to view them, even as a guest. I get the same screen when I try to view an attachment.

i had this same problem too ... some my users are complaining they cant see attachment as well

Please try rebuilding your attachment thumbnails

i have the same problem
i think i know the problem

if you enable VBSeo and try t access with a normal URL (without rewrite) it gives you a error (on windows 2008 at least)
i dont know why normal URL doesnt work when VBSEO is enabled

if i disable attachment rewrite, it has the same problem. I think its related to URL rewrite on windows
