Login not working on Index page

On the forum "homepage" with VBSeo installed (latest version as of today), if you try to login it will appear like you are not logged in, until you click a thread, then magically you are logged in.

-I have tried a fresh install of VB to fix it, hasn't helped.
-I am using IonCube. Zend had the same problem and many more.
-VB 3.5.2
-I have tried rewritebase, didn't help either.
-The second I turn off VBSeo, it works fine again. So it's definately VBSeo causing this problem.

Any ideas? I would post the URL, but I have the forum turned off in the meantime. So I'm looking for a general diagnosis of this since it is obviously a VBSeo issue and I'm sure someone has noticed it before me. If it's already covered in a thread that I didn't find in search maybe someone can link me.

please make sure that domain name of the login page matches domain name of further pages you are browsing (including "www." prefix) - otherwise vBulletin cookie will not be applied.
If that is not the issue in your case, please PM the test account details for your forums so that I can check it.
