live.com ping failed since

My vBSEO Google/Yahoo Sitemap daily report shows that the live.com ping has failed everyday since 8-17. It had been working fine before this. How can I troubleshoot this?

try adding in a delay between sitemap files in the sitemap options of about 20 seconds.


I think what happens is that since live is last to go, the email gets created before a response comes back from live.

Hmmmm still reports as having failed. Yesterdays processing time was 4.60 seconds for 11947 URLs, today was 7.82 seconds for 11977 URLs. That is with the 20 sec delay inserted.

Google ping: Successful.
Yahoo ping: Successful.
Ask ping: Successful.
Moreover ping: Successful.
Live.com ping: FAILED

I am also still having this problem. I tried the delay as well. Live.com fails every time it's ran. My site isn't even listed with them because of this. I really would like to find the solution.

Weird thing is, I tried the delay, it didn't work..about two weeks later it finally started working on its own. Been working everyday since.
