    Last Post

For some reason, this link takes you to the first post of the thread instead of jumping to the last. I haven't found any other threads on my site that do it yet; only this one. Is it something in the thread title causing it possibly?

    The title is: Ignition timing w/ PC3R - 929

    But the URL has: 38957-ignition-timing-w-power-commander-929-a-last-post.html

Any idea where the "a" is coming from? (I have PC3R as an acronym to be expanded to "power commander".)

    Normal Thread Link: http://www.fireblades.org/forums/fir...der-929-a.html

Yes, but when you click on the Last Poster name for that thread (when viewing a list of threads in a forum), it takes you to the URL I posted above, which does not work.

And also, the link you posted didn't expand my pc3r acronym for some reason.

And, as I mentioned, it works correctly on every other thread I've tested. I'm wondering why that "a" is getting put into the URL when it isn't in the title of the thread.

Just to test, I turned off Acronym Expansion just to make sure that wasn't throwing the "a" in there, and it still did it.

The "a" part is added to the titles that end with a number to make sure URL formats are reocognized correctly (for instance, it may be confused with a multipage showthread page that ends with a page number).

    Ah, ok. Thanks.

Just to test, I found another one that ends with a number, and the link works correctly on it:

    http://www.fireblades.org/forums/adm...last-post.html

    It redirects to:

    http://www.fireblades.org/forums/adm...tml#post386227

The 'Last Post' link provided above redirects me to the 'Normal Thread' link you mention. Could you explain further?

It should jump to the last post of the thread. Instead, it just redirects to the thread with no anchor specified.

    On this page: http://www.fireblades.org/forums/fir...ry-air-intake/

This is the icon that gives you that URL. (Attached Screenshot)

Amazing! It works in Firefox, but not in IE. Fixed!

/* NOTE: This issue has been resolved. */
The fix will be distributed in the next build.
